Questions
Before you buy.
Is Mojoo Office a cloud service?
No. It runs on a server or NAS on your own premises and is used through a web browser on your network. Your records are not held by us. If you need access away from the premises, we can advise on setting up a secure connection.
Does it file my VAT return?
It prepares the nine VAT return boxes for any quarter. You file them through your Making Tax Digital software or your accountant. Mojoo Office does not connect to HMRC.
Does it work with my card machine?
Card payments are recorded at the till against the sale. The card terminal itself runs separately, as it does in most small shops.
Which accounting packages can my accountant import?
The year-end pack comes as an Excel workbook, CSV files, a Sage 50 import or a QuickBooks Online import.
Can I bring my records across?
Customers, products and documents can be brought across from PowerQuote. Other systems are quoted once we have seen an export of your data.
What hardware do I need?
A server or NAS that runs Docker (for example a Synology NAS), and PCs or tablets with a modern web browser. USB barcode scanners, 80mm receipt printers and label printers work through the browser.
